Sustainability

The continued "advancement" of globalisation and materialism has resulted in the continuing decline and collapse of many of natures balancing systems. We are seeing the consequences with climate change, natural disasters and extreme weather patterns to name a few. Not only are we wasting Earth's resources, we are also wasting our human potential by creating societies that are fragmented and dysfunctional. The separation between individuals, communities and nature has become a serious and painful problem. Solving these complex problems and improving the functioning of individuals, organisations and societies does not have to be hard or involve sacrifice. Products can be redesigned to be more efficient and to have many lifecycles - reusing the same materials and reducing the need to continually mine Mother Earth's resources. Communities can be rebuilt and people brought together through improvement projects that are meaningful to them. Individuals can be helped to heal and align with their higher purpose, thereby increasing their happiness and reducing their materialistic tendencies. The time has come to support us all to change our behaviour and live in harmony.
